Active awarded SafeContractor status for the 9th year running.

Active has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace for the 9th year running.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. SafeContractor is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including our own clients: Britvic, Compass, and CBRE.

Over 300 major, nation-wide businesses, from several key sectors, have signed up to use the scheme when selecting contractors for services such as building, cleaning, maintenance, refurbishment or electrical and mechanical work.

Active's application for the SafeContractor accreditation over the years has been driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. Under the SafeContractor scheme, Active underwent a thorough vetting process examining health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.

Along with a number of other accreditations including CHAS, ISO: 9001 and 14001 Active prides itself on its ability to demonstrate its health and safety competencies to both new and existing clients.
