Last month Techo, one of the UK's leading office furniture manufacturers, launched the new Sidiz Flight chair. Being a supplier of Techo furniture, the team at Active had the pleasure of sampling the new chair in our very own office.
So what did we think…
The Flight chair designed for shorter use times features a mesh back with fixed arms and the addition of an auto-adjust weight mechanism. Although simple, with minimal features, the Flight chair more than serves its purpose as a multifunctional Task chair and is ideal for use by a range of people for short periods of time or even alongside a sit stand desk.

The new Flight chair is offered in either plain black or a combination of light grey, white and black. In an office full of black chairs the combination of light grey, white and black is a breath of fresh air and reflects the overall lightweight feel of the chair. The combination of colours as well as being refreshing looks modern when combined with its curved edges giving it a soft minimalistic look.
To sit in…
The Flight chair, as well as being aesthetically pleasing, offers comfort with a weight activated tilt system offering flexibility, allowing the chair to adapt to whoever sits in it.
To conclude…
The name “Flight" derived from the words “flexible" and “light" describes the chair perfectly as the Flight chair definitely achieves this. The light weight, concise feel of the chair means that it is easily maneuvered around the office, able to serve a multitude of purposes. Having worked with a range of different Techo products we would highly recommend the “Flight" chair as a great all-round multifunctional task chair.
