Nationwide is the World's largest building society with more than 14,000 million members. With around 17,000 employees in the UK its Head quarters are based in Swindon Wiltshire where 6000+ people are employed.
Brief
Restack circa 6,000 employees over a 12 month period
The relocation programme included a combination of 2 building closures and 3 building restacks following refurbishments.

Active's Approach
Following the successful initial phase to relocate 1,000 people over
4 consecutive weekends Active was appointed to manage subsequent phases which would
see 6,000 people physically move. This phased programme came to an end in January
2017.
An internal experienced Move Manage rappointed to run the entire
programme, providing a consistent point of contact throughout.
Working very closely with Nationwide's Workplace Transformation Team and Departmental Leadership Active was responsible for creating and managing the entire move programme which include dall inter-dependencies. We quickly established very good working relationships with all parties including third party contractors stepping in and out of the programme.

Successful Outcome
Nationwide featured Active in their internal December magazine
profiling the works carried out, in particular over one weekend we moved 500
people which whilst challenging was successfully executed.
Active received many testimonials throughout the programme but one sums it up 'Thanks for making all Projects this year such a success', Jason Stalker, Senior Project Manager.
